            <description><![CDATA[ Yeah, NTE produces an LED flasher circuit.  You could also use a simple oscillator.  It's pretty easy to build a one hz oscillator using just an inverter, a resistor and a cap.<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ There are still quite a few good circuits that are using the LM3909 ic (like the 1.5v tracking transmitter). Unfortunately, it's been discontinued from National Semiconductor. I still find these ICs very useful because of the low power consumption, and minimal components required for it's circuits. It's good to use in a pich....of course, I used my last one 2 days ago...:-/<br />
