Date: January 26, 2004 03:19PM For short circuit protection on output, you don't need any protection diodes. This power supply is tested for short circuit, the output current is approx 23A, if transistor Q6 is hot or very hot, the output current is lower. maximum output current is aprox 26A. I use this power supply for testing car power amplifiers. Re: Power supply 12V 20A

Date: March 13, 2004 08:09AM You can't add variable current control. Max current is defined by resistors R1-R5. By changing the resistors value you may define another max current. Be careful about setting the max current value. Re: Power supply 12V 20A

Date: April 20, 2004 10:30PM how many amps will this circuit design take? can I just add more transistors to get more current? I have a transformer capable of delivering 180 amps continous @16 volts. 90 amps @32 volts.  Re: Power supply 12V 20A
