LM3914 battery monitor

Date: June 26, 2003 09:30PM ![]() parts: U1 LM3914 Bar-Dot Generator IC R1 100k ohm potentiometer R2 1k ohm resistor LED1-10 light emitting diodes all resistors are 5 or 10 percent tolerance, 1/4-watt this circuit should be powered by its own battery, otherwise you might get an innacurate reading. hook the to-be-monitored battery to pin 5 of the chip. I prototyped the LM3914 battery monitor. I used a 5v supply to power the circuit and I am trying to monitor an 11.1vdc li-po battery. Ialso have pin 9 connected to +5v. I can't adjust anything. Help Doug B Re: LM3914 battery monitor
