If I replace the mic with an stereo input jack, can I hook up my cd or mp3 player to it?

I am currently building this circuit. actually i first saw this on another site (www.xinventions.com/main/spy/home.htm ) and i just stumbled across this site trying to see if i could get plans for a line in transmitter.

i have noticed a couple improvment to this circuit

1. bypass the battery with a .01uf capacitor

2. also if u can get a power connect for a 12 volt adapter go for it because this thing sucks up batterys

3. also why is there no switch to turn this off and on confused smiley

you may want to add one

for the line in reccording u will need the headphone jack from some other device and just back it up with a .33uf capacitor or something similar. and it will work just fine. just dont attatch it without it becaue u may fry ur player

Disconnect R6 from the power, and decrease c4 value for replacing the mic to a normal line in.

It seem good, but i think the power will be very low around 0.100 mw
