1. DC-DC Converter

I plan to buy a linear amplifier rated at 10 watts of output power. The specification require an input voltage between 24vdc-28vdc at 2 amps of current draw. I wish to use an external power source rated at 12vdc to power the DC converter. The converter should provide 48 watts of output power to the linear. I'm not an electrical engineer so I don't no if I am pursuing this correctly. I need h
