computer | sensors | interfacing | programming | parts & suppliers smallbotsensors The whole logic behind sensors is to detect obstacles in the path of travel. The logic behind proximity sensors, is to detect obstacles before crashing into it at warp drive. Currently the only sensor SmallBot has, is an ultrasonic sonar sensor. This was built from scratch and mounted on a circuit board from radio-shack. It's mounted on top of the robot (pictures coming soon.) The circuit I used is in the EE Projects section of Reconn's World right here. I'm also going to add infrared obstacle detection. I've got all the parts ordered, and the only thing keeping me from putting it together is a little-known thing called 'UPS Ground.'
